A regenerative agriculture project in harmony with nature
Our three families founded the Haff Wandelbléi farm in Eschdorf so that we could live out our shared values together.
In harmony with nature, we are passionate about practising regenerative farming.
We are delighted to welcome anyone who would like to share this passion with us.
Please do come and visit us!
Haff Wandelbléi is a demonstration farm currently being established, dedicated to regenerative agricultural and social practices on a plot of nearly 2.6 hectares in Eschdorf, in the municipality of Esch-sur-Sûre. Our farm follows the principles of syntrophy, an approach inspired by natural ecosystems to design self-sufficient, diversified and resilient agricultural systems, by promoting cooperation between plants, micro-organisms and animals and by significantly reducing external inputs. This model enables the creation of productive, replicable and sustainable farms, whilst adapting to climate-related challenges.
The project is led by six people with complementary skills: Sam, an expert in sylvopastoral systems; Max, an expert in syntropic agriculture; Lena, a qualified teacher; Karla, a qualified market gardener; Joé, who specialises in media and communication; and Marija, who specialises in floriculture.

The nursery is funded by the Œuvre nationale.
We’ll be organising tree-planting events and community work projects, and you’re very welcome to join us.
The company’s aim is to establish a demonstration farm where we can test and showcase regenerative forms of agriculture and social interaction, by applying techniques that enhance biodiversity and soil conditions, whilst producing nutritious food. Furthermore, we aim to strengthen social and cultural ties.
To this end, we will sell our produce through short supply chains, notably via the SOLAWI scheme. The company also ensures a fair income for producers whilst guaranteeing maximum accessibility to
products through fair prices that reflect the purchasing power of different social classes.
Sarl-s-Sis is committed to offering a range of products and services to promote, document, research and educate people about these practices.
1. Restoring ecosystems and enhancing biodiversity
Our project aims to recreate diverse habitats for insects, birds, small mammals and other local species, whilst restoring soils and landscapes. This contributes directly to combating the loss of biodiversity.
2. Strengthening the resilience of local areas to climate change
By incorporating regenerative practices (agroforestry, water management, living soils), we seek to limit the impacts of climate-related hazards (droughts, floods, etc.) and to offer practical solutions to adapt agriculture to environmental challenges.
3. Creating local jobs and sustainable skills
This project helps to build a circular, local economy. It thereby promotes the emergence of green jobs and the passing on of essential skills.
4. Raising awareness and inspiring the public
By turning our farm into a testing ground and demonstration site, we aim to show that productive agriculture can coexist with nature conservation. This includes opening up our project to the public and engaging with them.
5. Reconciling agricultural productivity with resource conservation
Our model demonstrates that it is possible to produce healthy food whilst restoring ecosystems. This addresses a growing societal need: to feed the population without depleting the planet.
6. Contributing to the fight against desertification and soil degradation
The regenerative practices we are implementing help to combat land degradation, a phenomenon that threatens food security and the stability of ecosystems on a global scale.
