What’s needed

The garden enables residents to improve their living environment themselves, to exchange ideas with people from other countries, social classes and age groups and thus actively promote living together.
They reappropriate the public space and become full local participants. At the same time, they learn to reclaim the ecological dimension of their neighbourhood by growing small amounts of vegetables for themselves and their families.

The project has upgraded the Al Esch and Brill districts.
