The Transition Nord association brings together citizens committed to implementing ecological transition initiatives in the north of the country.
Transition Nord a.s.b.l., together with a group of committed citizens, organises and monitors the following initiatives:
Community gardens: an initiative for food production in urban areas, citizen participation and raising awareness about food waste.
Babbelcafé: a language café where people can learn about other cultures and practise Luxembourgish, French and German.
Kascht-Näischt-Buttek: a shop that gives a second life to items that are still in good condition, such as clothing, kitchen utensils, toys, books and decorative items, in order to combat consumerism.
CoLab Makerspace: a community workshop for working, tinkering, exchanging ideas and helping each other. Carpentry tools and machines, a 3D printer and laser cutting equipment are available to members.
Fair sharing of rescued food: a system for collecting unsold food from shops and redistributing it throughout the community.
