Hidden away on the ground floor of an ordinary residential building in the Limpertsberg district of Luxembourg City, this committed restaurant combines traditional Lebanese cuisine with a mission of social integration. Founded in 2017 by Marianne Donven, a Luxembourger, Chiche ! is much more than just a restaurant: it is a springboard for refugees and migrants, offering them employment, training and social integration opportunities.

Chiche ! brings together refugees from a wide variety of backgrounds and cultures. This diversity is the driving force behind the establishment.

The concept has far exceeded initial expectations. In addition to the main restaurant, which remains the symbol of the association, three other branches have opened, confirming the relevance of the model.

The atmosphere of the place reflects its values: salvaged furniture, artistic creations and vintage pieces make up a welcoming and authentic setting. The atmosphere is just as appealing to local residents as it is to the expatriate community, all of whom come here to enjoy home-made specialities such as falafel and chiche taouk.
