The community garden was started by the municipality of Schüttringen, which also made the plot available to the group. The garden is cultivated according to the rotation principle: certain groups of plants move one bed further each year and one bed is strengthened with green manure to regenerate the soil.
Decisions on how the garden is to be tended and cultivated are made jointly. There is no waiting list for the garden.
