EnerCoop Uelzechtdall
EnerCoop Uelzechtdall is an energy cooperative founded by citizens with the aim of driving forward the energy transition.
EnerCoop Uelzechtdall
The cooperative aims to actively shape the energy transition by developing and implementing projects for the generation, storage, purchase and sale of renewable energies.
It also offers information exchange, advice and support on issues relating to renewable energy generation and energy efficiency.
The co-operative currently has around 180 members. The cooperative is organised on a grassroots democratic basis. Each member has one vote at the general meeting, regardless of the number of shares held, and can therefore actively participate in the co-operative's activities.
To date, the cooperative has installed two photovoltaic systems and produces enough electricity to cover the annual consumption of 210 people.

With its projects, the co-operative also aims to encourage the rational and responsible use of energy.
