Jacquinotsgaart community garden
The community garden "Jacquinotsgaart" is an initiative of the "Maison des Jeunes et de la Culture de
Bettembourg". It was launched in May 2015 and is managed by a group of citizens, the Maison des Jeunes et de la Culture and its partners: the Local Initiative Centre for Employment and the municipal environmental service. Gardeners experiment with permaculture techniques in terms of horticulture, eco-construction and alternative energy production techniques. One of the conditions of access to this garden is participation in the functioning of the group and the site (meetings, sharing of tasks, etc.). Participation in the garden is free and there is no waiting list.
