A hub for collaborative alternatives, local and innovative initiatives that contribute to the circular economy.
This ‘third place’ in Esch brings together a community of users around the values of sharing resources, skills, knowledge and know-how, with the aim of building a society based on solidarity and sustainability, and promoting a sense of community where connections are forged and ideas take shape.
FACILITEC is a space open to everyone, where anyone can devise an individual or collective project, create, repair and share. The users are therefore citizens from all walks of life, DIY enthusiasts, entrepreneurs and staff members of the Transition Minett association. We share knowledge, meeting rooms, IT equipment, tools – including digital ones – and a collaborative workshop for tinkering, learning, repurposing, inventing, borrowing and repairing.
We’re here to help you bring your ideas to life in a space dedicated to sharing, so please don’t hesitate to ask for our support.
FACILITEC therefore hosts a workshop for creation, upcycling and repairs, a tool-lending service (Gutt Geschier), repair cafés, sewing workshops, meeting spaces, inspiring events such as film screenings, clothes swaps, yoga sessions and shared drinks! … and much more to be created together with local residents!
